COLOMBO: Sri Lanka's off-spinner Muttiah Muralitharan has broken world record for most wickets in one-day international cricket.Muralitharan took the wicket of Gautam Gambhir during the fourth one-day international against India on Thursday to surpass the 502 wickets taken by former Pakistani paceman Wasim Akram.The 36-year-old Muralitharan playing in his 328th one-day international also holds the test record with 769 dismissals.
