Film star Shilpa jumps into IPL arena



MUMBAI: After Indian film stars Shahrukh Khan and Preity Zinta, now another Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty has also jumped into the cricket bidding arena of the Indian Premier League (IPL) as she has obtained partnership rights of the Rajhastan Royals from the owner of its franchise team.Shilpa had expressed her interest in getting the rights of the Bangalore Royal Challenges in the first season of the IPL but this stime she has purchased the shares of Rajhastan Royals, the winners of the event during the previous year.She will equally share the rights of the team with the Emerging Media Group, who already owns the team. Shilpa is also expected to be seen in the cricket grounds encouraging her team like Shahrukh Khan and Preity Zinta during the IPL matches.
