WASHINGTON: President Barack Obama's choice to head the CIA, Leon Penetta admitted Thursday, inmates of Guantanamo Bay, the infamous US prison based in Afghanistan, were subjected to brutal torture and added that making prisoners dive into water forcefully was one of torturing tactics US troops had been carrying out in Gitmo.Stating before Senate Committee for Foreign Relations Penetta admitted the tortured perpetuated upon Gitmo inmates was wrongdoing to Humanity.President Obama also regarded, the torture rendered upon Gitmo detainees was heinous, he further added in his statement.
